This week we will continue to access the Oak National academy. The focus will be Space. Day 1 The Oak National Academy lesson 1 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/space Activity: Can you design you your own planet for the aliens to live on? Day 2 The Oak National Academy lesson 2 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/space-to-listen-to-a-story Activity: Listen carefully to the story and then think about your favourite part- why is this your favourite part? Why is it important not to judge people? Day 3 The Oak National Academy lesson 3 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/space-to-commit-a-story-to-memory Activity: Can you retell the story, draw a story map of the main parts. Day 4 The Oak National Academy lesson 4 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/space-to-describe-a-characters-appearance Activity: Design your alien, give it a name and label it. Day 5 The Oak National Academy lesson 5 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/space-to-write-a-sentence-about-a-character Activity: Describe your alien character – in a full sentence remembering a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. You could even have a go making your alien with playdough afterwards. |
