As you can see, each little hedge plant has fresh green leaves and is growing. We wondered if we should cut down the grass around the trees, but decided to leave it for now as it is to be a 'wild' hedge to attract wildlife.

We took the crop to show the now Year 1s, who were delighted with their size and quality! The Year 1s gave the potatoes a wash and delivered them to Carol and team in the kitchen. Meteors also tonight planted some courgettes started off by Year 4, and discovered that we have our first mange touts (peas) and our strawberries are fat but not yet ripe. Our leeks are beginning to grow flowers, so we might give them to the kitchen next week!
