Planning so far
Below is our plan. The tarmac for the path and centre will be put in place at the very beginning of the summer holidays, followed by a team of volunteers (some from Lloyds Bank, led by PTA member Lizzie) who will create the garden beds around it. We plan to save the planting until September so we can water and look after the new plants properly.
We intend to use the Platinum Jubilee colours of purple and silver with greens and white for our plants, with a focus on plants that appeal to our different senses.
By September we hope the tarmac path and centre will be surrounded by garden beds ready for planting to begin. The planting will be led by our "Grow Wild" club, but we hope to involve some children from all year groups too.
