Our visit to Derrie's garden
On Thursday 17th October 2019 Meteors ECOteam visited the garden of Derrie, one of our governors.
We tasted 3 varieties of apple, ate home made honey biscuits and enjoyed tea or juice, before we went to pick our own apple to take home and watch the bees buzzing in and out of their hives.
We each then filled a tiny jar with honey from Derrie's bees to take home as well, while Dave the cat enjoyed lots of fuss! We had a fabulous time, learning so much about his apples and bees! Thank you so much Derrie for having us!
